China Business Seminar hit with local SME’s
The latest event in a series of seminar and workshops hosted by the Regional Language Network Yorkshire & Humber attracted a huge interest from businesses across the region.
Held at Hull’s World Trade Center, the seminar was extremely well attended and featured presentations by some of the region's leading experts in international language, culture and Chinese business development. A must for all businesses preparing to enter into the Chinese business market.
Mike Goodare, International Operations Director, Arco has been working with Chinese suppliers for over 25 years. With his vast wealth of experience he opened the seminar with tips and advice on import and export issues. Mike was delighted with the attendance and feedback: "The event was a huge success provided further evidence of good Yorkshire and Humber international trade performance and a willingness to share ideas and best practice."
Zhen Ye is a leading expert on Chinese industries and international market entry to China, and is a leading lecturer at Hull University. His early part of his career was as a legal executive in Chinas intellectual property practice and was able to share with delegates valuable business practice and tips on Chinese business culture.
Shu-Mei Li a lecturer in Modern Languages at Hull University completed the seminar and prepared delegates with Chinese language skills in the speaking world.
