Interested in teaching the Diploma in Languages
and International Communication?

Would you like to play a part in bringing language learning to life?

The Diploma in Languages and International Communication is an innovative new qualification which will be taught from 2011 by local consortia - formed of schools, colleges, universities, employers, local authorities and other stakeholders.  A three-stage selection process, known this year as 'Gateway 4', reviews submissions from consortia interested in delivering the Diploma.

DCSF has now announced the timeline and application process for Gateway 4.

Final applications to teach the Diploma in Languages and International Communication are
due by 25 November 2009 (initial management information must be supplied by 26 October 2009).

You can visit the Diploma in Languages and International Communication website for a
range of information and guidance on Gateway 4 - including a core advice document for consortia.  Further information about the application process is available on the DCSF website
