York University launch Britain-China business competition - 28th January 2009 A competition designed to boost trade between Britain and China will be launched at the University of York. The 21st Century China UK Entrepreneurship Competition, organised by the China Innovation and Development Association (CIDAUK), aims to encourage new business ventures between the two countries. Teams have to present their business plans to a panel of experts with the winners earning a first prize of £2,000. |
Charlemagne Youth Prize has been extended to 16 February 2009 - 28th January 2009 The European Charlemagne Youth Prize aims at encouraging the development of a European consciousness among young people, as well as their participation in European integration project. The Prize is granted to projects undertaken by young people which foster understanding, promote the development of a shared sense of European identity, and offer practical examples of Europeans living together as one community.
